Islamabad Schools to Introduce Evening Classes:

Islamabad Schools to Introduce Evening Classes

The Federal Directorate of Education (FDE) in Islamabad has announced that it will introduce night classes in 51 schools in the city starting from the new academic year. This is to address the significant increase in student numbers during the recent campaign, which has led to overcrowding in classrooms, especially in primary schools where some classes have more than 50 students. Night shifts  provide additional learning opportunities, especially for  children  who are not attending school or have daytime responsibilities. To support these new changes, the FDE will improve infrastructure in selected schools and provide additional pay to teachers who take part in night courses. Night classes will run from 2pm to 7pm Monday to Thursday, with shifts to 3pm to 7pm on Fridays.
