The International Cricket Council (ICC) has confirmed that the 2025 World Test Championship (WTC) final will be held at the iconic Lord's Cricket Ground in London from 11-15 June 2025, with a back-up date of 16 June in case of disruption. This will be the first time Lord's will host the WTC final. The previous two finals have been held at different venues in England, with New Zealand winning in 2021 at Southampton and Australia winning at The Oval in 2023. The 2025 final will feature a contest between the top two teams in the WTC points table at the end of the current cycle. India currently lead the way, closely followed by Australia. Other teams including New Zealand, England, Sri Lanka, South Africa and Bangladesh are also vying for a place in the final. Given the importance of the match, ICC Chief Executive Geoff Allardice expects demand for tickets to be high and has urged fans to register their interest early.
