Driving Licenses Will Not Be Issued Across Punjab Due to System Problem

The issuance of driver's licenses has been temporarily suspended across Punjab due to a critical system error in the Driver's License Information Management System (DLIMS). The disruption affects various services including  issuance of new driver's licenses, renewals, learner permits and international driver's licenses. The Punjab Information Technology Board (PITB) is actively working to resolve the technical issues, but no timeline has been confirmed for the resumption of  services at this time. The suspension is causing significant inconvenience, especially to those who rely on their driver's licenses for work and daily activities.  PITB has assured the public that it is committed to resolving the issue as soon as possible and advises individuals to stay updated through  official channels.
