Pilots Advised to be Extra Cautious at Islamabad Airport

Pilots operating out of Islamabad International Airport have been instructed by the Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) to exercise extra caution during landing and take-off as the  monsoon season continues. The warning particularly highlights the dangers of slippery runways affected by heavy rains, especially runway number 18L. These conditions have increased the risk of aircraft skidding on wet surfaces, making vigilance essential for flight operations. The warning is part of the extensive precautionary measures being taken across Punjab in the wake of heavy monsoon rains.
