The Capital Development Authority (CDA) has decided to develop Islamabad's E-12 sector, which was first launched 35 years ago in 1989 and remained stagnant for many years. Despite the sale of over 4,000 properties, the development of this sector has been delayed for decades due to unresolved land acquisition issues with local landowners and developers. In a recent meeting chaired by CDA Chairman Mohammad Ali Randhawa, it was decided to address these land disputes and expedite the development process. The CDA is also planning an operation to clear illegally occupied land. The CDA Chairman has promised to personally monitor the resolution of the E-12 issue and ensure that development work begins without further delay.
