LAHORE ROCKED BY 5.7 Magnitude Earthquake

On September 11, 2024, a magnitude 5.7  earthquake struck parts of Pakistan, including  Punjab, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and the capital, Islamabad. The earthquake's epicenter was  near Dera Ghazi Khan and was at a depth of 10 kilometers. The tremors were felt in Lahore, Multan, Peshawar and even parts of India. Fortunately, there were no immediate reports of significant damage or casualties, but authorities have put emergency services on high alert in preparation for possible aftershocks. The earthquake caused temporary panic as people evacuated buildings during the shaking
