Karachi citizen protest against increasing loadshedding | Breaking News


Karachi has seen numerous protests against increasing  power outages in recent days, with residents expressing their dissatisfaction with the continuing power cuts and water shortages. In various areas, including North Karachi and Gulzar-e-Hijri, residents took to the streets, blocking roads, setting tires on fire and causing massive traffic jams. Demonstrators attacked K Electric (KE)  customer service centers, demanding an end to unannounced power cuts that  lasted  up to 14 hours a day in some areas. In response, the Jamaat-e-Islam (JI) political party  announced city-wide protests, accusing the government and KE of ignoring Karachi's energy problems and failing to provide a solution to the worsening energy crisis.
