3 new polio cases take current year’s total to 21: NEOC

Pakistan's National Emergency Operations Center (NEOC)  recently reported three new polio cases, bringing the total this year to 21. These cases highlight the ongoing challenges in the country's efforts to eradicate the disease, as polio remains a significant public health issue.  NEOC stressed the need for continued vaccination campaigns and public awareness to combat misinformation and promote community participation. Health authorities are working to intensify surveillance and vaccination efforts, especially in high-risk areas. Efforts are ongoing to ensure  children receive the vaccines they need, and authorities urge parents to participate in upcoming vaccination drives. The rising number of cases demonstrates the importance of vigilance in the fight against polio. For more related  information and updates, please contact us.
